"Chris and I worked together for 3 years in an outpatient orthopedic clinic. During that time, I was extremely impressed with her knowledge about, and passion for working as a post-rehab trainer with people of all ages, skill levels, and athletic abilities. She worked hard not only to help people recover from a large variety of injuries, but also played an integral role working with women following breast cancer surgery which is a very specialized area. Her positive, cheerful attitude and wealth of knowledge regarding rehabilitation techniques for the human body make her invaluable to her colleagues and clients, and I strongly recommend Chris to anyone who can use help healing after injury or surgery. "Chris has a gift for health, nutrition and fitness. In the time I have known her, she is an inspiration in the way she lives her own life and a true example of what a fitness lifestyle can do for someone. Not only is she always positive and uplifting, but a leading expert in her field. I completely and fully trust her in guiding a fitness journey."
"I’ve been taking Chris’ yoga and foam roller classes for four years now. Her knowledge of yoga asanas, breathing techniques, human anatomy, and their interactions keep me coming back for more. I look forward to being challenged and encouraged to explore my ‘edges,’ with encouragement that it’s OK if I can’t see them on any particular day. I always feel great after one of Chris’ classes. I plan to keep coming to her classes for many years."
“At my first weight training class with Chris she was so impressive in every way….she has a very pleasant voice, is extremely knowledgeable about the science of our bodies, and is well versed in every type of athletic endeavor — weight training, foam roller, spin and Yoga. And she’s lots of fun! If you’ve never heard of Fascia, she’ll impress you with its importance. She lives what she teachers. She’s a delightful instructor and very concerned about each and every one of her students. I couldn’t ask for a kinder and better instructor.”
After having both of my hips replaced it became necessary for me to review my need for a good fitness program. At the suggestion of a friend, I tried Yoga and started to go to our community fitness center to do workouts. Then in mid-March 2020 the pandemic hit and everything closed down. Fortunately, Chris Cavaletto had started offering Zoom classes for Yoga. This has proved to be a lifesaver for me and instead of losing a year of progress I’ve gained strength, range of motion, and flexibility. The classes that Chris offers are great and I would absolutely recommend them. The beauty of the Zoom classes is that you can pick the exercises that work best for you from a range of topics. Since you can do them in the comfort of your own home, you can pick a time of your choosing.
"When I started Chris’s “Roll and Release” class in the fitness center at Sun City Grand, I thought it was a stretching or toning class! I had no idea what that cylinder thing was really for lol! Through Chris’s fun class, I was soon hooked on the concept of myofascial release and how to make this happen easily and regularly with one simple foam roller, and her incredible guidance and expertise!
Chris is fun, upbeat, and passionate about foam rolling and the benefits it has for the body. This passion is contagious in a most wonderful way! I purchased my own foam roller and haven’t stopped since. When the pandemic hit we had to stop in-person classes (I miss them!) but soon Chris was up and running on Zoom- a close substitute to the real thing!"
"Chris' Roll and Release classes are keeping me flexible and pain free. You are never too old (I’m 73) to start foam rolling! My flexibility has greatly improved since I’ve been participating in her class. It’s like nothing I’ve ever done before. Grab a foam roller and turn on the music. Be prepared for a fun and fabulous experience! Your body will thank you."
"What I love about these great yoga videos is that I can choose between a 15-minute class or a 50-minute class. After doing your yoga videos for the last few weeks my strength and stamina have improved. With the Foam Roller classes I enjoy the information you give (myofascial release) and I never knew I had to stretch after rolling."
"I have been practicing yoga for several years with Chris as my guide. It is only during the Covid lockdown that I really appreciated how she has made yoga a vital part of my life, my health, and my happiness. Chris’ instruction, with all the options and levels one could ever hope for, is PERFECT! My body and spirit feel youthful, vibrant, and HEALTHY. Thank you, Chris, for being there to lead, both in person and on your fabulous YouTube site."
"I have taken Chris’s foam roller class in person while in Arizona, and through YouTube while at home in Colorado. She has a thorough knowledge of the muscular system and how the roller affects different body parts, and is careful to discuss adjustments if you have injuries or other concerns. Her class is enjoyable, even if pressing your body on a hard roller isn’t always that much fun! The way my body feels later is worth the temporary discomfort and I just wish I could do more in-person classes. YouTube is a great alternative, however. Highly recommend!"
"Prior to the pandemic, I enjoyed Chris’s live classes in my community twice a week. I was worried when the pandemic occurred that I would be losing Chris’ expertise and my favorite yoga. Now I enjoy her live class every Monday and follow the instruction from her videos at least three additional days per week. I get to vary my routine with her many videos, so it never gets mundane and routine. The increase of Chris’ yoga in my life has been one of the few benefits of the pandemic."
"When we started to shelter in place due to the pandemic, I had just undergone reconstructive surgery. Being able to take Chris’ yoga class live every Monday allowed me to start the full recovery I needed. I slowly built to enjoying her classes 7 days per week, mixing up my routine with her many video choices. I now have full range of motion and feel great – and this wouldn’t be possible without Chris!"
"I love Chris’ foam roller videos. I have really missed massage since the start of Covid. Her classes help me to deal with the kinks and works every part of the body. Chris has such variety that you can find something for every mood and every situation that you need - from classic Yoga to foam roller. I have tried other video classes and find Chris is the best! She is very knowledgeable and it’s easy to understand her instructions!"
"Chris’s instructions are clear and easy to understand. She has beautiful form demonstrating the moves, and she gives alternative poses. Her classes are both creative and enjoyable."
Chris has been my yoga instructor for the past 5 years and her classes are always challenging. She varies every class and makes the time fly by with her encouragement and guidance. I have learned so much from Chris about physiology and how and why the muscles of my body function the way they do. I can literally close my eyes during her instruction and am able to follow every move she describes.
Before the Covid lockdowns, I attended her classes in person. She was so helpful to me by correcting my alignment if I was in the stance incorrectly. This is so valuable to insure that the moves are executed safely and to obtain the greatest benefit from my practice. Since she began Zoom Yoga and Foam Roller Practices, I have been able to continue strengthening and toning my body through the lockdowns. This is both physically and mentally valuable to all of us who follow Chris. I look forward to getting back to the studio but am thoroughly enjoying my screen time with Chris.
Chris & her ZOOM classes of yoga & roller have helped me remain active & motivated at home during this past year. Chris is knowledgeable & caring. She always has options if you are unable to do a move. I have no excuse for not making a class..... I only need to walk to my exercise room! Her YouTube channel lets me get in other class/classes on my own time. Thanks, Chris, for helping me remain mobile & active!
I do a yoga and foam rolling class with Chris each week (live on zoom) and if I have time fit in a video or two during the week. I had been doing yoga with Chris live for a couple years, but I had not been doing foam rolling,
When I first started doing foam rolling, I thought “why does anybody do this, it hurts!”. Now that I have been foam rolling with Chris for over a year, I actually look forward to her weekly class. She has taught me so much about foam rolling using a roller and tennis balls. Foam rolling is so much more than rolling your back. Whenever I have an ache or muscle tension, I know exactly what to do on my own as Chris provides excellent guidance in her classes. In addition to being fun her videos/classes are informative and based on the science behind myofascial release. She demonstrates everything so you can see it and gives you options to modify if needed. All of Chris’ classes are great, so enjoy.
After Chris’s Yoga Classes I always feel I have more energy and a brighter mood besides feeling so much more flexible. Also, my balance has greatly improved. Now during COVID I love the Zoom classes and You Tube videos offered by Chris.
Following my rotator cuff and bicep tear repair surgery Chris’s foam roller classes helped me relieve tension and muscle soreness not only in my shoulder but my entire body.
