This is a short practice that I did to wake up and get moving while enjoying the outdoors. Jump start to your day or do this as a pick me up in the afternoon.

The goal when using a foam roller is to soften some of those tense spots which in turn helps prevent injury and improve mobility. When you are in pain while foam rolling, the body goes into fight or flight and tenses up in the areas we are wanting relaxed so that the tissue can be rolled out. A high-density roller is not always the best if it causes these issues.
Foam roll exercises for office workers is for anyone that sits a lot. If you are working at a desk all day this is a great routine to loosen up. We start with the front upper body then move through the areas that are impacted most from sitting. Finishing up with the neck and shoulders and then a stretch for the hips and belly. Using the foam roller will help relieve tension from poor desk posture. You may even find your productivity goes up after this. This is a great class to share with anyone that plays video games for hours at a time.
